| ABOUT THE ARTIST |
| |
A New England native, Karin Thompson has had an inherent appreciation of Nature, thanks to her Dad, since early childhood. She has also had a lifelong special fondness for horses; admiring their beauty and majesty. Photography has been an on-going passion and hobby. |
|
The Library of Photography has chosen her work for a coffee-table book to be published this year. |
Several of her shots have been used as display photos at CVS stores in their one-hour processing labs, at different locations. Her "Small Town U.S.A." hangs in the Town Clerk's office at the Town Hall in Harrisville, R. I. She also |
donated a photo to the Audubon Society of Rhode Island of a rare albinistic chickadee. Moving to Chepachet in 1981, she found Northern Rhode Island to be rich in history and natural beauty. All 8X10 photos are unretouched, printed on quality Kodak paper, and personally signed by Karin Thompson; and are ready to mat and frame in your own individual style. |
